How the interview works

  • This is a graduate-entry course only.
  • You will do six Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs).
  • The interview lasts about one and a half hours.
  • Station content changes every year.
  • Two trained assessors observe and score you at every station.
  • Assessors include medical professionals and academics.
  • Assessors also include current students and lay people interested in medical education.
  • Further interview details are sent when you are shortlisted.

What they assess

  • Suitability against the GMC's Good Medical Practice

How it's scored and how offers are made

  • After the MMIs, each candidate's score profile is reviewed to decide offers.
  • No place is offered without an interview.
