Why I Started MedWay

I have watched too many people struggle to get into medical and dental school. Friends, classmates, people I'd grown up alongside. Talented, hard-working applicants who had poured everything into their grades, their work experience and their personal statements over multiple application cycles, only to walk into an interview not knowing what the panel was really looking for.

Some of them came out convinced they had thrown away their only chance. It was never because they weren't good enough. It was because nobody had ever shown them how.

The ones who did get help often paid a fortune for it: hundreds of pounds for a handful of private tuition sessions, just to get guidance that should be accessible to everyone. For every family who could afford it, there were many others who couldn't, with their children left to figure it out alone. I was one of them.

That never sat right with me.

Where you come from shouldn't decide whether you get to become a doctor or a dentist.

So I set out to build something better. Unlike other platforms that rely on general medical consultants or dentists who have not gone through the interview process in years, I have brought together leading application specialists with years of experience helping students confidently secure places at medical and dental school.
